Has anyone ever read the book Persuasion by Jane Austen, or seen the movie? It's an old story about a woman who is persuaded, by other people, out of marrying the man whom she is in love with, only to run into him many years later, where he carries a grudge. Bottom line, it's about a woman who can't make up her mind.

So what else is new?

Seriously, how hard is it for someone to make up their mind and stick to it? Call me old fashioned or nitpicky or anything else which might adequately fit here, but I am of the opinion that, if you say something, you should mean it and stick to it. Especially if it involves someone else. Changing your mind is one thing. Giving and taking is another.
